Val Thorens has got several structures designed for children and run by specialised motivated leaders, aimed at letting them discover the mountain safely : nurseries, ski schools for children over 2 years old, surf schools.

In certain hotels and buildings, there are special "family prices" as well as selected childrens menus.

Finally, children benefit from very attractive prices on ski lift passes :
• free for the under 5 year olds
• - 35% reduction on the price of an adult ski pass for the 5/9 years olds
• and 28% for the 10/15 year olds.

In addition, there are special prices for large families : if the family composes of 5 children (parents + 3 dependant children), and buys 5 Val Thorens or Belleville Valley ski passes for the same duration, the 3rd child and any thereafter, are free of charge.

• Bambi courses (from 2 1/2 to 4 years old) : the children discover the snow at their own pace.
• Flocon courses (4 years old upwards) : the children discover skiing in a reserved snow garden especially designed for them.
• Zig Zag courses : for your children who have already obtained the 3rd star. The children are looked after all day.

Marielle Goitschel's experience allows her to pass on her knowledge to children. For their safety, the children ski in a protected reserved area.
From the Flocon stage onwards, they go onto the pistes. In case of bad weather, the children are entertained all day.
